Marketing in The News: Doe Lashes

Since everyone else has posted about marketing during the pandemic and advertising during corona time, I decided to choose something different. I'm talking about shopping during quarantine. Specifically what I have been shopping for during quarantine. I have chosen to write about a company that I've liked for a while now called Doe Lashes. What will be interesting about this post is that I will be bragging about this company even though I have not even tried their products yet. This is a company that has captured me purely through their marketing strategy-- and my quarantine boredom. My thoughts on them have simply come from word-of-mouth, online reviews, and my own communication and purchasing experiences with the company. Hi, everyone! I'm Makayla. I'm currently enrolled in my first year at LBCC in the business program. After my time here, I intend on transferring to OSU in pursuit of either a degree in accounting, mathematical economics, or-- depending on how this class goes-- marketing! I've always liked the psychology aspect of marketing. In addition, marketing shows you how you are being targeted as a consumer, and I think it's really interesting in learning the ways companies market to you. For example, I love Taco Bell, and when I see an ad that says that Taco Bell is giving out free doritos locos tacos today, and I tell all my friends about it, I'm marketing for Taco Bell. Who knew?  Anyways, a little more about me: my real hobbies include shopping, going out to eat, and hanging with friends-- all things that I can't do right now.
